         Biography Nickelback

        Nickelback is a Canadian rock band

        formed in Hanna, Alberta, Canada.

        Nickelback sold over 13.5 million albums

         in the United States and over 1.7 million in Canada,

          their worldwide album sales totalled almost 25 million.

       In 1995 Chad borrow some money to made

        their first EP 'Hesher'.

        Directly the next album come out named 'Curb'

       and they started a promotiontrip through Canada,

        to win fans for them, and they had alot of success.

        Nickelback take the distribution and management

        in their own hands.

       In 2002 a new album came out named 'The State'

     Nickelback did make the right decion!

      The big break-through came in 2001 with

      the single 'How You Remind Me'

       from the album 'Silverside Up'

      They had an international break-through.

     The band has won nine Juno Awards,

    an American Music Award,

    an MTV Video Music Award for

     Best Video from a Film Hero,

    and a World Music Award for

      World's Best-Selling Rock Artist.

       On December 4, 2006,

      Nickelback won three Billboard Music Awards

      out of five nominations.

     Chad recorded the single 'Hero' for Spidermen.

    After that they recorded the single 'Too Bad'

     coming from the album 'Silverside Up'.

     In 2003 a next album came out

      'The Long Road' with the hit-single 'Someday'.

      In 2005 Ryan Vikeldal leave the band.

    So Daniel Adiar takes his place.

       He was playing with the band 3 Doors down.

       He was ready to make a new album.

      In 2005 they recorded the album

      'All The Right Reasons'

      Hit-single 'Photograph' and 'Far Away'

     All the Right Reasons has sold over

     5 million albums in the United States

      and over 7 million albums worldwide.

      NHL goalie Cam Ward, wears a goalie mask that has a

        Nickelback theme featuring the bandmembers playing,

    and NHL goalie Jamie McLennan wears a mask

       that features the album artwork from Silver Side Up.

          Nickleback's song "Saturday Nights All Right for Fighting"

        featuring Kid Rock can be heard every Saturday night

         during the intro of Hockey Night in Canada.
